LANG

LANGart gallery was founded in 1996 under the name Metis_NL by Ron Lang and Rossana Alberico. The gallery is currently located in the Jordaan area in Amsterdam. In 2014 Sara Lang, the daughter of Ron and Rossana joined her father as owner of the gallery. LANGart is by definition a family run gallery. LANGart has made a name for itself as a gallery which discovers new artists, like Guglielmo Castelli, Norbert Schwontkowski, Olga Chernysheva, Tyna Adebowale, David Bade, Folkert de Jong, Remy Jungerman and Raquel van Haver. LANGart was the first gallery in the world to work with renowned photographer Letizia Battaglia. Till this day LANGart represents her extensive body of work.
