Mc2gallery was founded in 2009 by Vincenzo Maccarone, then a young collector and Claudio Composti, gallerist who grew up in the artistic environment thanks to his father, along with many of the most important artists of transavanguardia and Italian poor art. Mc2gallery specializes in photography and aims to discover and promote young emerging Italian and foreign artists, who mainly use photography as an artistic medium, without neglecting the attention to painting, sculpture, video or installations. In 2018 the gallery opened its headquarters in Montenegro, in Lustica Bay but is still present in Italy. Mc2Gallery has become over the years a point of reference for photography and the promotion of photographic culture in Italy.
